Lauren is based in Canada and has set up this fantastic channel to discuss her own experiences of living with schizophrenia/ schizoaffective disorder.

Talking Minds (website)
A co-designed website for people living with psychosis in Aotearoa. Heaps of information on medication and tips on how to live well with psychosis.

Mental Health Foundation
The mental health foundation is a charity that works to support the mental health and wellbeing of all New Zealander’s. Their website is full of useful information and resources to support you, your friends or whānau through all kinds of health and wellbeing experiences.

What’s Up With Everyone?
This campaign of a series of animated stories and companion website—co-produced with and for young people—aims to increase mental health literacy. The partnership seeks to evaluate the efficacy and impact of these creative outputs in order to inform the much-needed evidence base in the area of young people’s mental health.

Early Invention Services
EIS team supports 13–25-year-olds in Wellington, Porirua, Kāpiti, and the Hutt Valley experiencing first-episode psychosis. They offer treatment, information, and family support for up to 2–3 years. If you’re worried about yourself or someone else, the first step is to talk to your GP or an MHAIDS clinician, who will be able to refer to EIS.

Headspace Australia
Australia’s national youth mental health and wellbeing organisation. Headspace Australia has an awesome set of resources for young people expereincing early psychosis which can be found here.

The Kindness Institute
The Kindness Institute empowers marginalised communities across Aotearoa through encouraging movement, teaching mindfulness, growing leaders and connecting communities.
